Registrations for the 2018/19 Season are Now Open! 
It is that time of year again... the 2018/19 cricket season is almost upon us! So what better club to represent this summer than the mighty red Papatoetoe Cricket Club?!

There will also be a Juniors Orientation Evening on Wednesday 10th October from 6pm – 7pm to welcome all our junior members, friends and family to the club and to kick off the new season! All junior members will also be given a player pack as part of their subscriptions which will be handed out on the evening.

Good luck to those competing in the New Zealand Indoor Cricket Provincial tournament this week!
Luke Istead, Feala Vaelua, Lily Mulivai, and Regina Lilii will take on the rest of the country as they represent Auckland at this year's NZ Indoor Cricket Provincial tournament! 

The tournament will run from this Thursday, 2nd August to Saturday, 4th August at Action Central on Dominion Road. Here are their game times if you're free to go along and support!

Auckland Women's Draw:
  • Thursday: 1.10pm vs Canterbury
  • Friday: 9.30am vs Northern Districts, 12.40pm vs Canterbury, 3.50pm vs Northern Districts
  • Saturday: 12.40pm Semi-Final, 3.50pm Grand Final
Auckland Men's Draw:
  • Thursday: 10am vs Central Districts, 4.20pm vs Wellington
  • Friday: 9.30am vs Northern Districts, 12.40pm vs Canterbury, 3.50pm vs Central Districts, 9.15pm vs Northern Districts
  • Saturday: 9.30am vs Wellington, 12.40pm vs Canterbury, 3.50pm Grand Final

Club Manager, Garry Wood donating two bags of cricket gear to Ex-All Black, Sam Tuitupou to be used to help grow the great game of cricket across schools in Tonga!

Winter Programs are underway but it's not too late to join - see sessions below!

    Dates: September 7th to September 28th
    When: Fridays 4.30 - 6pm
    Total cost: $65 per person
  • Junior Beginners intro to basics Years 4-6
    Dates: July 20th to August 31st
    When: Fridays 4.30 - 7pm
    Total cost: $100 per person
  • Manukau Districts candidates Years 6-8
    Dates: August 7th - September 25th
    When: Tuesdays 4.30 - 6pm
    Total cost: $120 per person
  • Manukau Districts candidates Years 9-11
    Dates: August 9th - September 27th
    When: Thursdays 4.30 - 6pm
    Total cost: $120 per person
  • Junior Girls Development - All Ages
    Dates: July 2nd - September 26th
    When: Mondays and Wednesdays 4 - 5.30pm
    Total cost: $70 per person

New Junior Playing Conditions and Formats for the 2018/19 Season!
The upcoming 2018/19 will see a lot of changes to the Junior Grades' playing conditions and formats so if you or your child are involved, we would suggest starting to get familiar with them now. There is also the exciting introduction of soft ball (incrediball) and tennis ball carnival cricket for both junior girls, social women, and junior boys.

The Papatoetoe Sports Awards have been postponed so there's still time to grab tickets by emailing! Here are the nominees that the club have put forward:

Your Club Needs You! Join our team of volunteers for the upcoming season!
With the 2018/19 season fast approaching and plenty of cricket across our junior grades, we are looking for anyone (e.g. parents, teachers, aunties, uncles, past players etc. ) who is interested in helping with:
  • coaching
  • managing
  • scoring
  • umpiring
So, if you're keen to put your hand up for any of the above or assisting in any way, shape, or form with any of our club teams and particularly across our junior teams then send us an email and will be in touch!
PRIVATE COACHING is available through Papatoetoe Cricket Club. The Club can provide coaching sessions for players of all levels:
  • Senior - serious or social
  • Junior  - boys and girls
