The club has put forward the following nominees at this year's Papatoetoe Sports Awards so come along and support the nominees, as well as listen to former Papatoetoe Cricket Club member and current Blackcap, Ish Sodhi speak at this year's event!

Who knew cricketers could be as talented on the dance floor as they are out on the cricket pitch?! Former Blackcap and Papatoetoe cricketer, Chris Harris has switched spikes for dancing shoes and continues to show off his smooth moves on this year's Dancing with the Stars!
"Harris' background as a top cricketer hasn't been much help on the dance floor. The types of movement are totally different, and he's had to unlearn some of his cricket habits. On the other hand, some of his newly-acquired dance knowledge – ideas about balance and the transfer of weight – would have been helpful during his cricket career, Harris says." CONGRATULATIONS to premier women's players, Feala Vaelua, Lily Mulivai, Regina Lilii and premier men's player, Luke Istead who have been selected to represent Auckland and Northern Districts, respectively, at this year's ICNZ Provincial tournamentin Auckland at Action Central from Thursday, August 2nd to Saturday, August 4th.
