From the General Manager's Desk
Welcome to a new season! Much has happened since last season. We saw the new initiatives for NZ Cricket with the ages and stages concept being rolled out. No one doubts the reasoning behind the changes but at times it created significant confusion and frustrations. Having said that feedback was generally supportive and the addition of mid-week T20 games was a real step up for those involved. We look forward to a much smoother start to the new season from now on.
The key to this season will be bedding our registration process with Cric HQ so that we have a very early picture on how many teams we have in the various grades. There are some key things to be aware of when registering. All of the fields that have "required" beside them need to be filled in or you cannot proceed to the payment part.
Could all players including the seniors please add an ID photo to their Cric HQ profile. In the absence of membership cards, this is a really helpful way for members to identify themselves and for Club Officials to recognise each player.
The quicker the registration and payments are completed, the quicker the teams can be finalised, entries sent to ACA and practices schedule finalised. This is really important as the Indoor Centre is at a real premium and the nets will be similar when we start to go outdoors in October.
The Club office is situated in the Admin room at Kolmar. Office hours will be 3.30 - 6 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until further notice. If you do need to come in for any reason, either Regina or myself will be there at those times.

Please take note of the following events:
  • The Holiday program. This will now include a Breakaway session each day for the older players from 11 to 16-year-olds. This will run each day from 12 noon until 4 pm. Players must register in advance.
  • The registration morning at Kolmar on September 21st from 10am-12 noon.
  • The muster open day on Sunday, October 6th. This will include registrations, face to face with staff, a trading table where there will be an opportunity to buy new or pre-loved gear, apparel fit-out for all grades. There will be more information closer to the time on this.
