UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS
15th September: Come along to Papatoetoe Cricket Club's Golf Day!
When: Saturday, September 15th
Time: Meet at Kolmar at 8.15am for 8.30am bus departure
Cost: $60 per player which includes game, bus, lunch and light refreshments

17th September: Welcome and Registrations Evening for all Junior and Senior Women!
When: Monday, September 17th at 6pm - 7pm
Where: Kolmar upstairs
Who: Open to ALL junior and senior women wanting play in any of the U11, U13, U16, Premier Reserve and Premier Women's grades.
What: To officially welcome all our junior and senior women to the 2018/19 season. We would like as many of you there as possible, including ALL parents, coaches, and managers to get a gauge of numbers and get most (if not all) our girls registered. 
19th September: Advanced Foundation Coaching Course
When: 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, 19th September 
Where: Kolmar Indoor Centre
Who: Open to all aspiring coaches including all parents and helpers that will be assisting with trainings and game days (incl. scoring, umpiring etc.) throughout the season. 
What: Practical coaching course run by Garry Wood
CLUB TRAININGS
Junior Midget Nights start this Friday!
When: Every Friday night from 4.45pm to 6pm starting 7th September
Where: Kolmar Indoor Centre
Who: Open to all Year 3 to Year 6 school-aged children of all skill levels 
What: Skills plus modified games for beginners and children transitioning to hard ball. 
Pre-season training starts this Saturday 8th September for all Senior Men Open Grades
When: 2pm to 4pm every Saturday from 8th September until the start of the season
Where: Kolmar Indoor Centre 
Who: Open to all senior men who play in the open men's grades
What: Pre-season training with Garry Wood
Pre-Season training for Senior Women has started! 
When: 6pm to 8pm every Monday night
Where: Kolmar Indoor Centre 
Who: Open to all women wanting to play in the Premier Reserve and Premier Women's grades in the upcoming season
In-Season training for all Junior Girls will start on the 8th October!
When: 4pm - 5.30pm every Monday from October 8th
Where: Kolmar Indoor Centre 
Who: All U11, U13 and U16 age group girls

With the season fast-approaching, it is important that we get all players registered before the season kicks off as this is a requirement from NZC. So, if you haven't already registered, please do so ASAP using the 'REGISTER ONLINE' button above! If you have any questions around this, please contact papatoetoecricket@kolmar.org.nz.

Alternatively, download a registration form below and pop along to one of our registration days noted on the poster below. 
There will also be a Juniors Orientation Evening on Wednesday 10th October from 6pm – 7pm to welcome all our junior members, friends and family to the club and to kick off the new season! All junior members will also be given a player pack as part of their subscriptions which will be handed out on the evening.

New Junior Playing Conditions and Formats for the 2018/19 Season!
The upcoming 2018/19 will see a lot of changes to the Junior Grades' playing conditions and formats so if you or your child are involved, we would suggest starting to get familiar with them now. There is also the exciting introduction of soft ball (incrediball) and tennis ball carnival cricket for both junior girls, social women, and junior boys.

Your Club Needs You! Join our team of volunteers for the upcoming season!
With the 2018/19 season fast approaching and plenty of cricket across our junior grades, we are looking for anyone (e.g. parents, teachers, aunties, uncles, past players etc. ) who is interested in helping with:
  • coaching
  • managing
  • scoring
  • umpiring
So, if you're keen to put your hand up for any of the above or assisting in any way, shape, or form with any of our club teams and particularly across our junior teams then send us an email papatoetoecricket@kolmar.org.nz and we will be in touch!
