Papatoetoe vs. East Coast Bays – Papatoetoe Recreation
Papatoetoe finished their campaign on a high against East Coast Bays after a dominant third-wicket partnership by skipper Logan Clark and Dilpreet Singh.
A pair of 59s by Tristan van Ingen-Kal and Ryan Harrison gave East Coast Bays a platform to build on after Josh Plummer (2-34) impressed during an initial eight-over spell. Bays were all set for a big finish, comfortably placed at 156/4 with 15 overs to go. Papatoetoe, however, fought back through Ish Sohi (4-26) and Bhupinder Singh (2-39). While Seb Langridge (39*) did his best to play the role of finisher, his partners came and went as Bays were bowled out for 206.
Plummer (28) powered 6 fours to get Papatoetoe’s reply underway, but his brief blitz ended in the 7th over. By then, Papatoetoe were two down and in need of stability. The third-wicket partnership provided just that as Logan Clark and Dilpreet Singh put on an unbeaten stand of 170 to take Papatoetoe to victory. Clark finished with 102* from 128 deliveries, while Singh’s 59* came from 95 balls.
East Coast Bays 206 (T van Ingen-Kal 59, R Harrison 59, S Langridge 39*, I Sohi 4-26) lost to Papatoetoe 207/2 (L Clark 102*, D Singh 59*) by eight wickets.

The Premier Men head back into red-ball cricket this weekend to resume the Hedley Howarth Two Day Championship here at home against Auckland University.

| If you're worried about the weather at any point throughout the season, keep an eye on the ACA Cancellations page as that will be updated regularly. If your game has NOT been listed as canceled, then assume your game is still going ahead and head to the ground as per normal. |

| Coaches/Umpires/Scorers Corner - Qualifications |
|
Foundation Course (an email address is required for initial registration) - this course is a requirement to coach all soft ball and tennis ball grades and can be completed all online.
Advanced Foundation Course - the Foundation Course is a pre-requisite for this and involves theory as well as practical components. This is a requirement to coach all junior boys (U19 and below) and girls (U16 and below) grades.
